Teleop-Consortium-300x300

We are excited to announce Phantom Auto Co-founder and Chief Business Officer Elliot Katz has joined the Teleoperation Consortium as a founding member of its inaugural Board of Directors. The Board of Directors of the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA) unanimously endorsed the formation of the Teleoperation Consortium in December 2020.

A non-profit business league established to facilitate the interaction, and advance the interests, of entities involved in the teleoperation ecosystem, the Teleoperation Consortium enables the collaboration of companies, organizations, and governmental bodies engaged in developing bidirectional vehicle communications. The Teleoperation Consortium will hold an annual summit, as well as focused forums and workshops on various topics for members to network, gain new insights, and connect with both members and non-members to advance their business interests.

In addition to his appointment to the Teleoperation Consortium Board of Directors, Elliot will also be a speaker at TRB’s Automated Road Transportation Symposium on the Remote Support for Automated Vehicle Operations panel this Thursday, July 15th at 9am EDT. For more information on the symposium and to register, visit www.trb.org/arts
